VJ Media Works was established over 20 years ago with a vision to offer a focused and curated platform catering to two niche industry domains: Retail Design & Tech and Out-Of-Home (OOH) Advertising.
The company began its journey with the industry publication 'P-O-P Today' (later renamed ‘Point of Purchase’- 2000-2019), and later launched two more publications 'VM&RD' (Visual Merchandising and Retail Design- 2005 - 2020) and 'Outdoor Today' (later renamed ‘Outdoor Asia’).
These publications were the first of their kind for the respective industries they covered and went on to become leading magazines read by the decisions makers in these eco-systems. The company’s publications division later expanded to the online space with the industry news portals www.media4growth.com and www.retail4growth.com
The company’s vision also translated into exclusive industry event properties with the launch of In-Store Asia (now owned by Messe Dusseldorf), Out-of-Home Advertising Convention (OAC),
the popular and most awaited event for the OOH eco-system, and later DDX Asia, which is focused on digital display and experiential technologies in both retail and OOH spaces, besides other regional industry events.
Also, the Out of Home Advertising Awards (OAA) launched by the company in 2005 has over the years come to be seen as the benchmark for OOH excellence.
VJ Media Works has carved an edge over the years with a close understanding of market pulse, a sustained focus on knowledge sharing to bridge industry gaps and by bringing together buyers and sellers of the relevant eco-systems.
