Express Avenue, the largest mall in south opens in Chennai

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has inaugurated Express Avenue in Chennai, which is considered as the largest shopping mall in South India. Congratulating the launch of Express Avenue, CM said, ?Express Avenue is like a crowning memorial for the services rendered by late Ramnath Goenka, the doyen of Indian Journalism.?
The mall sprawling over 1.8 million sq. ft. area worth Rs. 750 crore, will initially house about 260 retailers ? anchor brands including Future Group, Lifestyle, other food courts and multiplex theatres. Express nfrastructure Pvt. Ltd (EIPL)?s Chairman Saroj Goenka said, Express Avenue would be the future landmark of Chennai and would light up the heart of the city in an environment that would infuse into Chennai a fresh attractiveness as a tourist destination.?
The global standard of mall management has been maintained in Express Avenue. In an objective to give a reflection of international look and feel,right tenant mix with proper astute planning, synergistic placement, food and entertainment opinions have been given maximum priority in this mall.
