LERROS has big plans in India.

28 October 08, Bangalore LERROS, a Germany based premium apparel brand launched in Bangalore recently with much fanfare. The 3000 square foot store is their third outing in India with the other two located at Delhi and Noida.

Ram Prasad, the CEO of LERROS Fashions India Pvt Ltd, was present at the launch. He is optimistic about the brand and its future in India. “LERROS is a premium and popular brand in Germany. Seeing India making headway with more premium fashion brands entering the market, LERROS decided to open its store for Indian consumers. Our clothes are for smart and fashionable customers who are quality conscious and follow their own sense of style. We always believe in being innovative and authentic, thus bringing out the best designs in all our collections,” he said.

All the merchandise in the store (about 400 SKUs) comes from Vietnam, China, India and Germany. The theme of the store has been designed in Germany with all fittings and store accessories sourced from Germany and Delhi. They have a massive expansion plan in mind; 15 stores by March 09, with the next one in Bangalore likely to be in the Mantri Mall that is under construction right now. A massive PR promotion is being planned as well with both print ads and an extensive outdoor campaign.
