SPAR unveils its largest hypermarket in Malleshwaram

One of the world’s largest independent food retail chains SPAR, which is spread across 35 countries, has unveiled its flagship hypermarket in India under the license agreement between Max Hypermarkets India Pvt. Ltd. & SPAR International. The store in Malleshwaram in Bangalore that sprawls across an area of more than 90,000 sq ft has arranged a parking space that would accommodate over 2,000 cars at a time.
While inaugurating the company’s flagship store, Mr. Viney Singh, Managing Director, Max Hypermarket India (P) Ltd., opined, "Through the introduction of such large format stores, we hope to take the shopping experience in India to a whole new level. At SPAR, customer satisfaction takes precedence over every other aspect. We would like to provide our customers with the best of services, coupled with value for their money, and make their weekly shopping an experience to look forward to.
" SPAR aims to endow the customers with an international shopping experience at value-for-money. It has sheltered a diverse array of merchandise such as bakery, grocery, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, easy-to-cook products, meat, poultry and fish, wines, beer and spirits, home textiles, personal care, kitchenware, crockery, electronic products and IT and accessories or children's products all under one roof.
