‘India Outdoor Advertising celebrates 10th Anniversary; launches new logo’

India Outdoor Advertising Present celebrated its 10th anniversary on June 11, 2010 at Ramada Powai. During the ceremony India Outdoor Advertising also unveiled its new logo. The event witnessed the presence of clients, agencies and suppliers from all major towns of India, Rakesh Valmiki and Michael D'Costa were present along with their teams and all offices to welcome the guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Valmiki, partner, India Outdoor Advertising, said, “ We are two partners myself and Michael D'costa, We both started our career from Sovereign Advertising & Marketing Services where we worked for 14 years as a media controller and handled All India Brands like HLL, UTI, L&T Cement, Birla Brand Cement, Lots of IPO Campaigns. After leaving Sovereign Advertising & Marketing Services, We have started India Outdoor Advertising with the support & Tie-up of Akhtar Abbassi of National Advertisers. In this journey of last 10 years, we have for the first year concentrated on trading business, most of it being from Advertising Agencies and direct clients. We have had good relations with the suppliers and media owners/Advertisers, because we have dealt with them from Sovereign advertising in our career of 14 years, we have developed good PR with them which has helped us to do the trading business/media buying business at Pan India level.”
The company is the last five years have developed media properties like hoardings and gantries in Mumbai, Thane, Mumbai-Pune Express highway Lucknow and Kanpur. The company plans to concentrate for the future in towns like Varanasi, Cochin, Ernakulam and Trivandrum in the state of Kerela and in Punjab.
