Bank of Baroda invites agencies for an OOH media plan in Bihar, Orissa and Jharkhand

23rd March'09, Mumbai Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, Patna invites quotations on two bid system basis from advertising agencies for preparing a panel of vendors for an OOH media plan that covers the three states, namely, Bihar, Orissa and Jharkahand for the period 2009-2010. The proposed plan should reach The Deputy General Manager’s Marketing Department in Patna by 30th March 2009.

As per our sources, “The Bank of Baroda officials are looking for an agency that can give them the coverage on Glow sign boards, Hoardings at Foot over bridges, Railway stations, Bus Terminals, Airports, Pole kiosks, flower pots along the road dividers, Wall paintings on major rural areas of Bihar, Orissa and Jharkhand states.”

Adding to that our sources also informed us about the two bid system, where in the bank officials, have asked the advertising agencies to, send their proposal for monthly/ quarterly/six monthly and yearly basis. The two way bid includes--

1. Technical Bid: Rates should not be mentioned in technical bid in any way and only technical specifications, exact locations, terms & conditions and other technical details should be given.
2. Price bid: It should contain rates, taxes etc.only.

The tender however also has some clauses, of which the two most important one’s are- 1) Used flexes will have to be purchased by the vendor and 2) The vendors will be responsible for maintenance of the display through out the contracted period and will take all necessary permission / approval from local authorities for the same.
