Bus shelter tender for Chennai notified

16th May 2008, Chennai: The Corporation of Chennai (COC) has issued tenders for the construction and maintenance of modern bus shelters in Chennai corporation area on a Build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. National, international, independent firms, joint ventures, lead partners of consortiums are invited to submit their bids. Four different packages have been outlined by the Corporation. Under package one 133 bus shelters need to be constructed in three zones. Under package two 153 bus shelters are required also in three zones. Package three requires 96 bus shelters in two different zones. Package four has two zones with a need for 118 bus shelters.

The Request for Proposal document costs Rs 16,875 and needs to be submitted by 20 June 2008 by 3:00 PM. The pre-bid briefing meeting will be held on May 30 at 3:00 PM.
