Jaycee quits Screenery
12th September 08, Bangalore: Jaycee Ads Pvt. Ltd. is no longer a part of Screenery Media Pvt. Ltd.
Recently in Kerala five companies had joined hands to form Screenery
Media. The other four companies, Outlook Communications, Delta Communications, Travancore Communications,and Century Communications will
retain their partnership and run Screenery Media.Jayachandran Karunamaran,
Proprietor of Jaycee Ads was the Managing Director of Screenery Media. He
also happens to be the brain behind theformation of Screenery. On
September 6 he was relieved of his duties. The reason for the split was
that Jayachandran or Jaycee, as he is more
popularly known, insisted that the other four members sign the
shareholder agreement of April 07 2008. However the other members of
Screenery refused to do so. At this point Jaycee decided that he would
not continue as a member of Screenery.
The other four members will run Screenery and proceed with business.
Screenery's
first major win was bagging the outdoor advertising rights for the
prestigious Volvo
Ocean Race that is coming to India for the first time. The race starts in
Spain and
is expected to reach Kochi in the last week of December. Sources said that
Screenery
still holds the Volvo Ocean Race contract. (For more information on
