PCNTDA introduces street furniture project

The Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA), has introduced street furniture project.
The authority which is developing the spine road will supposedly spend `12 crore for road signs, erection of metal crash barriers and other street furniture like installation of signages to ensure road safety. As part of the over all plan there will be a number of direction boards on the road stretch.
The bids for the street furniture project have been invited and the work order is expected to be given in about one-and-half-month's time. The work is expected to be completed in six months after the work order is issued.
